Definition Technologies is building the largest 3D printing factory in Europe, located in Eindhoven. We officially began our journey 2 years ago with our custom high-speed 3D printers. Our business model focuses exclusively on contract manufacturing, allowing us to develop end-to-end production lines for our clients. This includes building machines, developing compounds, and advancing automation for lights-out manufacturing.

Mechanical Engineer – Construction Industry

As a Mechanical Engineer, your role is to design and develop new structural solutions for the construction industry using 3D printed building elements. Your primary focus is to translate ideas into hands-on designs, validate mechanical performance and ensure manufacturability for large-scale construction applications.

Responsibilities

• Design 3D printed constructions, connections and assembly methods.

• Validate structural integrity and safety according to construction standards.

• Collaborate with materials and production teams to integrate new compounds.

• Develop scalable solutions that move from pilot projects to series production.

Over time, there are opportunities to grow into roles related to Lead Design Engineer or Project Engineer.
